inconsequential ruminations

A minimalist blog, with a pretentious title, about strategy games.

Faidutti RSS

Bruno Faidutti’s site finally has an RSS feed.

His Ideal Games Library has long been one of my favourite places to research games on the web and I enjoy his games very much, especially Dragon’s Gold.

  1. Good news on Bruno’s RSS feed, although I quite enjoy checking every few days to see if he’s added anything.

Not sure what you see in Dragon’s Gold. Played it when it first cam out and thought it was instantly forgettable. As it’s still in the collection, how would you convince me to give it another try?

  2. Try Dragon’s Gold with six rowdy players who just want to have quick, easy fun. It’s especially good when the card that lets you cheat and steal treasure comes out.

Apparently it’s very similar to I’m the Boss, which is very highly rated, but I have never played it.
