Warfrog Printing
Monday, January 24th, 2005I found this post by James Hamilton to Spielfrieks fascinating, as he talks about their business plan. He has obviously given a lot of thought about how to make games without losing a lot of money. It is interesting how he describes his investment in Age of Steam as only having produced:
a reasonable return on my investment
There is clearly almost no money in this business, if even a highly successful gamers game can only make reasonable returns.
It might help explain why Hannibal: Rome vs Carthage still cannot find a publisher.
